Electric Cars

Saw a mini coop electric car in the parking lot today. No exhaust or anything.

Got me thinking that it probably doesn’t have a water pump, a radiator, fuel pumps, fuel injectors, carburetors, or valves - just to get started.

Plug it in for 3.5 hours and you are good to go.

2010 is the year where 10 automakers are launching their electric cars. (inlcluding toyota, nissan and chevy)

Will you consider trading in your gas guzzler in for one?

Re: Electric Cars

Currently no, because the miles I drive in a day are often more than a single charge.

Now if my work people start a free "charge station" at our work's parking lot, I actually might get one.

I think my motorcycle is very green! 50+ mpg

Re: Electric Cars

Do electric cars make that growling sound? You know… when you rev the car? I don’t think they do, so i’m not willing to trade. :snooty:

My current car - around 13 MPG… and i’m bending the truth there slightly… :bummer:

Re: Electric Cars

I am not going to consider that .. for one reason, there is not enough space inside for me to carry a family of four on long distance trips
