Re: Elections 2013 results

qomi assembly ka halqa kafi bada hota hai… so 2000 polling stations (Nabeel Gabol himself quoted this) are normal .

Re: Elections 2013 results

2000 bohat ziada lag rahy hain

Re: Elections 2013 results

So you are saying that in one second 5 votes were casted just for one candidate?

Re: Elections 2013 results

I don't know how its possible, but the trend was also evident in many constituencies in Sindh and Punjab. Its not only Karachi's constituencies

Re: Elections 2013 results

Bhai 2000 polling stations to puray karachi mein nahi honge

Re: Elections 2013 results

Muqawee, Waleed has a point: How many are total registered votes in Karachi? Lets say 5 million.

Now if one polling station covers roughly 5000 voters, one thousand (1000) polling station would be enough for the whole Karachi, no?

Re: Elections 2013 results

I don't know whether he was referring to polling stations or polling booths. I'm just saying that if this is to be highlighted then should be hilighted for all parties and all areas of Pakistan. Such selected targeting gives an opportunity to people like Altaf Hussain to talk rubbish and hatred. Express News made a report of candidates who got more than 100,000 votes and it includes all major parties, but why the fingers are being raised at only Nabeel Gabol is the matter, which is beyond my understanding, as in 2008 elections, MQM's candidate from same seat got almost same number of votes

Re: Elections 2013 results

Re: Elections 2013 results

They ahve to grab the opportunity from the looser Molana Diesel. If he is able to form government in KP alongwith PML(N), PTI voter in KP will really be dishearten

Re: Elections 2013 results

such instances should be thrown on ECP’s face

Re: Elections 2013 results

Seems like PMLN will do anything to ditch PTI from KPK

Re: Elections 2013 results

oh no! that would be tragic

Re: Elections 2013 results

OK, thanks.

I think main focus should be about how people were deprived of exercising their basic democratic right to vote.
How many could have been cast in a second etc. are just details.

Not a representative example, I know, but just imagine if someone goes all the way from US to Karachi just to cast his vote and he is denied that very right!!!

Re: Elections 2013 results

JI's Munawwar Hussain has announced support for PTI by saying that they deserve to form government because people of KP gave mandate to them. Its upto PTI to approach them as soon as possible, because IK+JI is thousand time better than this sazshi Diesel and PML(N) alliance.

Re: Elections 2013 results

I would even go as far as to form a govt. with PTI + JI + PML-N in KPK.

Down with diesel, KPK has had enough of this fake mullah!

Re: Elections 2013 results

PTI should approach JUI and make govt in KPK
