Okay its election time and brings some old memories back. Some of the slogans I heard in past should be rated R IMO, sorry for the vulgarity, but these are “real” slogans heard in elections.
When I was a child I heard slogan below against Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto:
“nau sitaray nau bhai bhutto teri shamat ayee”
Then during elections of 90s I heard following slogans:
MQM against Professor Ghafoor, Jamate Islami’s election symbol was bicycle:
“gir gayee cycle toot gaye kapooray… haaye ghafooray haaye ghafooray”
MQM against Benazir Bhutto, not sure if PPP’s symbol was talwaar or teer (arrow):
“na teer chahiye na talwaar chahiye Benazir ki shalwaar chahiye”
“bol Bilawal bol tere kitnay hayn baap” (something along these lines).
I wonder why we don't have ban on these slogan as well? No matter how low the person or party leader is this should not be allowed in Public. This is really shame to hear so nasty slogans. Do these guys hear them in their homes in front of their elders, kids, family and so on....really SAD.
