Perhaps it is proper time to start an election thread , All eyes to the people of Pakistan , It is their decision which will be enforced . This elections totally different than all previous elections . This is first ever election in Pakistan going to be held in a civilian control with a more powerful election commission and a strong judiciary showing great impact on every thing .

Opposition and Govt members have both been really angry over some demands by ECP who has full rights as per constitution. ECP has taken note how some parliamentarians transfer their assets to their children to evade taxes. It has also asked them to provide the projects they carried out in their constituencies.
Why does ECP needs information on projects in constituencies? Are they not there to vet candidates for FUTURE elections?
If they have not done anything, they would (or should) be held responsible by the public in that area. If there has been corruption, it SHOULD be the job of law enforcers or NAB to identify that. Tax evasion is same. It should be up to FBR to determine if the candidates have been evading taxes or not and inform ECP if that is the case. Is ECP getting over-excited like SC?
