Ye khat o kitabat jin sheikh ul hadith se hui wo ulama e deoband ke mumtaz aalim e deen Maulvi Muhammad Sarfaraz Khan sahib hain jinki 2 mashoor kitabein “Raah e Sunnat” aur “Ahsan ul Kalaam” bouhat mashoor hain, “Raah e Sunnat” to mere paas bhi pari hui hai…Inn se khat o kitabat kerne waalay hazrat ka naam hai “Allama Habeeb ur Rehman Kandhalvi”…Mulahiza kijiye

if sadqa after death had any good, all the rich ppl who die wud go to heaven because of the sadqa their families can afford to give off after their deaths....
a person shall be judged on what he/she did and not what his/her family did in his/her name after his/her death....

Pray for the dead, thats a must. Pray for the whole Ummah as well.
But if you do sadaqah, that will be from you and you parents will get the thawab anyways, since children are sadaqae jariyaa. That is my understanding. Wallaho alam bissawab.

a person shall be judged on what he/she did and not what his/her family did in his/her name after his/her death....
The books of 'Sawaab' and 'Gunnah' do not close at the time of death. Rather, additions continue, and the level of prosperity or otherwise depends on the deeds of the person in the mortal life here.
On the second note, rich people have absolutely no advantage after death. If theirs or their relatives' intentions are not completely pure, sadqah or any dua of any kind cannot benefit them at all.

Quran mein wazeh irshaad hai ke Logon ko badla sirf unkay apnay kaam ka milta hai...
1- "Ye ek jamaat thi jo guzar gayi, unkay kaam unka kya hua aaye ga aur tumhaaray kaam tumhara kiya hua aye ga aur tumse unkay kiye ki pooch na ho gi".(Surah Baqara 141)
Yani Quran ne wazeh taur par eesaal e sawab ke aqeeday ke ek ka kya hua amal doosray ke kaam aata hai baatil qarar de dia aur saaf keh dia ke tumharay kaam sirf tumhara kia hua aye ga na ke kisi ke bhaijay huway sawab ke bundle.
2-"Unka kya haal ho ga jab ke hum unko uss din jama ker lein gay jis mein zara shubha nahin aur uss din sab ko poora poora badla mil jaye ga jo usne kya tha aur kisi pe zulm nahin ho ga.(Al e Imran ayat 25)
Yani jo karein gay hamein ussi ka sawab milay ga aur eesaal e sawab ke naam par ye quran ka sawab "bhijwana" Qurani ahkaam se mutsadam hai.
3- "Phir har shakhs ko uskay kiye ka poora badla milay ga aur un par koi zulm na ho ga".(Ale Imran ayat 161)
4- "Har shakhs ko uskay kiye ka poora badla milay ga...." (An Namal 111)
Yani baar baar kaha gay hai ke sirf apnay hi amal ka badla milay ga na ke kisi ke bhejay gaye sawab ka.....so eesaal e sawab kahan se aa gaya bhala...
5- Al Kahaf ayat 49 mein phir aakhrat ka manzar hai ke jis jis ne jo kya ho ga usko dikha dia jaye ga aur kisi par zulm na ho ga.....
6- Aur tumko uss ka badla milay ga jo tum kya kertay thay (39/37)
Iss se ziada wazeh alfaaz mein eesaal e sawab ke aqeeday ko kya jhutlaya jaa sakta hai?? yani sirf apnay kiye ka badla milay ga kisi ke amaal ka tumko sawab nahin milay ga.......
7- "Ye jannat hai jiske tum malik bana diye gaye apnay amaal ke iwaz" ( 72/43)
Yani jannat apnay amaal ke iwaz milay gi na ke kisi ke bhejay huway sawabon ke bundles ke zarriye.............wo kisi kaam nahin aain gay...
8- Surah Al Jasiya ayat 28 mein phir kaha gaya hai ke "Aaj hum tumko tumharay kiye ka badla dein gay".
Iskay ilawa bhi aisi beshumaar ayaat hain jin mein kaha gaya hai ke tumko tumharay hi amaal ka badla milay ga na ke kisi ke eesaal kiye huway sawab ka ya amal ka....
maslan 136/3,121/9,111/11,30-32/16,96-97/16,38/24,90/27,17-19/32,54/36,39/37,68-72/43,13-14/146,19/46,38/74,21/52 aur iskay ilawa aur bhi hain koi kahay ga to uska reference bhi de don ga
Lehaza Quran se sarahtan saabit hota hai ke ek shakhs apna koi amal ya sawab doosray ke khaatay mein nahin daal sakta....yani eesaal nahin ker sakta....
So, ab kisi ka koi bhi amal ho wo amal sanad nahin ho ga balkeh Quran ka irshad sanad ho ga.....Agar hum loag Ek baar surah fatiha aur 3 baar Qul parhtay hain to iska sawab humko hi milay ga aur agar hum kehtay hain ke hum isko eesaal kertay hain murday ki taraf to ye cheez Quran ke mutabik mumkin nahin lehaza ye bay-faida amal ho ga.......
Murday ke liye to sirf dua hi ki jaa sakti hai ke Allah usko bakhsh de, apna koi sawab uskay khaatay mein nahin daala jaa sakta....
Farz karain ke ek shakhs apni zindagi mein kabhi Quran parhta hi nahin , usko hath tak nahin lagata bus pakar ke choom ke rakh chhorta hai, uskay marne pe uskay ghar waalay 50 Quran khatam ker ke uski taraf eesaal kerne ki koshish kertay hain to kya uss shakhs ke khaatay mein 50 quran ka sawab likha jaaye ga?? nahin uss shakhs ko to danday parain gay k tu ne saari zindagi khud to Quran ko hath lagaya nahin ab tujhe uss amal ka jo tera nahin kyun sila milay........ye to na insafi ho gi agar uskay saari zindagi quran na parhne ke bawajood uskay khaatay mein 50 quran likh diye jaain.
Lehaza jab aik amal ghair qurani hai to hum sirf iss wajah se ke musalmaano mein iska rawaaj ho gaya hai Qurani ayaat ko nahin chhor saktay ya unki door azkaar taweel nahin ker saktay......

we r talking here about things other than those mentioned specifically in the hadith…
like someone reading Quran and saying that so and so shall get the reward for it…
now if a person reads Quran then someone who has died (oe is even alive) can get ajar for it if:
he is his father who taught him Quran
a teacher who taught the Quran
someone who had made the center of the Quran learning where the person learnt it from
someone who has printed the copy of Quran and distributed it for free for people
or other such examples, but not someone totally unrelated and u think that he/she will get ajar for it…
