This song is definitely a classic and I could never get tired of it. It’s just one of the most beautiful songs of all time with the most lovely lyrics. Javed Akhtar is a genius! Are there any lyricist as great as him.

Miss, its not about understanding its about annoying. In the song it clear that the singer is pronouncing closer to larki than ladki.
Try this: Go to a shop and ask if they have any 'pakodas' you will know what I mean.
Anyways my point here is not to pick on the guy who posted the video. It's a nice song and lets just say that the singer got larki right.

Prounouncing R as* D* is a MENTAL disorder and it should be treated as such. This Indian disease is spreading among those who **can **SPEAK the word PROPERLY yet they still wish to copy this asinine and retarded way of speech.

Ladki or Larrki. There is no letter for "arr'ay sound in the english language so someone somewhere thought of using the letter "D" instead.
Why letter D I am not sure but let's enjoy the song. :)
