Not only Kashmir. Some districts of Punjab, Sindh and Bangal had some issues too.

Anyways, do not underestimate the power of khatoon ki jhappi. Did you know that if a French general was not in love with wife of an English lord, half of New Zealand today would be French?

Northern Island of NZ was colonized by British. French Captain Lavaud was secretly ordered to colonize the South. He sails to NZ. Meets British Governor there.

Story goes that he was impressed by the beauty and charm of the wife of governor. He let slip the purpose of the mission to her and she told her husband and he ordered the British ships to take that Island before the French could.
