ok, if we consider Zaroons character in ZGH, he was probably portrayed as a Playboy in the novel. Hum TV made the character customised to get approval from masses.

I got one other reason for this attitude in upper class. Its lack of attention / supervision by parents to the children, which allow / made them indulge in such behavior.

HUM TV showed what people wanted to watch, yes you are right about lack of attention which turns kids like zaroon into arrogant young man and lately this thing is happening in middleclass as well.
