Eight of 10 Malala shooting suspects acquitted: officials

sometimes i do wonder who is running the country…taliban? everyone seems to be afraid of these animals taliban.

now if there were no evidences against 8 of them, i can undersatnd the rationaale but apparently in April, legal and security officials announced that a court had sentenced 10 men to life imprisonment](http://www.dawn.com/news/1179116) over the attack, following a trial in Malala’s hometown of Mingora, in Swat district.

and now they are let go… What is the truth regarding sentencing, will truth come out? And any nexus will be exposed?

Re: Eight of 10 Malala shooting suspects acquitted: officials

Well parties who ran the campaign on social media of how fictitious this whole thing was, and how malala staged this whole thing herself must be very happy right now.

Its a shame to intelligence agencies they couldnt gather enough evidences or witnesses to hold the attackers accountable?

Once again, with the original culprits roaming free out there, its useless to hope there’ll be any peace

Re: Eight of 10 Malala shooting suspects acquitted: officials

that is why i said i am not sure sure who is running this country. taliban?

if these news are true, it is even more disappointing as army was involved in the whole episode. The suspects had been detained by the army under a major anti-militant offensive and the existence of the trial was kept secret until after its conclusion. No media were present for any hearings…

We’re they tried in military courts? Police needs some major fixing, but it is downhill right now with noons in power.
