We will be giving money to the children as usual. my daughter was asking for some more games for her DSI today but I said she can spend her eid money on games.

Last year was my daughter's first eid so we got her a toy and had it wrapped so she can tear it apart.. this year I don't want to get her another toy so instead we are getting her another booster seat :) I am sure she will appreciate this more.. No jokes aside she has got so many toys that I feel I don't need to overload her for anything more.

I've been thinking about this.. theyre too young for money, and they've got LOTS of toys already. So Ive decided to give them two dollars each, and then take them to Dollarama :D

I just thought of an idea. This is what I am gonna do for every Eid. Give her money. Probably add a dollar every year till she turns 5 then double it every alternative year. Take a picture of her on Eid day all dressed up. Print it. Write the date & her age plus the amount of money she got from mommy & daddy that year & anybody else & save it in a box. I have been saving formula cans to make centerpieces out of them for her 1st birthday. I'll take one of those & decorate them real nice & voila.

Just saw a small fisher price blocks toy, so decided to get her that, since she doesn't have anything like it. :D
