Re: Eid

For me Eid is so much fun! All our family from different cities come to the place where we live, kind of whole of our khaandan lives here.. On chaand raat we get mehndi on our hands, And some cousins come to our place for Aftari, my bro hates the smell of mehndi tho...
On Eid we all get up very early and go to the Masjid for Eid ki Namaz, its our family Masjid so almost we get to meet everyone thr.. Its soo much fun, esp all the baray enjoy the Eidi's of Engaged girls(cousins).. I love it too.. We all get ready for Eid ki namaz with great excitment...
Actually thts the best part... Then we go to different houses to meet family... Ofcourse mum makes yummy Saawaiyan before going, esp since its said you shud eat sumthing before going to the Masjid.. Its fun, but sometimes have to get rdy in such a rush! esp if we sleep late on chaand raat...

OMG!!!! im soooo excited can't wait for Eid..... Tho my clothes are still at the darzi, lol.. hope i do get it soon!

Yes, well we are a tight knit community of Pakistanis here and we are a lot of Pakistanis here so EID is always something to look forward to each year. Both the small one and the big one. My mom likes to do everything perfectly hehe. Thank you and I wish you the same.

Ohhhh that's a brilliant idea Mianva. Wonder if I can get 'em here in Denver.
