Okay guys, I know this is a bit premature, but I have 3 days before my MIL goes to Lahore and I want to give her a nice dress design I can wear for Eid. I’d prefer something a bit loose and flowy as I’ll inshAllah be 8/9 months preggo by then! Other than that, I have NO particular preference. Any style, colour or design I am open to.

If she will be in pakistan till June then she. Could pick up something from the Eid collections. It'll save a lot of hassle since tailors are a pain during summers.

I like the kaam of the first one and I think it will look gorg on the third one. Eid is summer so go for light bright summery colors. The jamawar underneath chiffon or any light airy material would look fab.

The first one is lovely. I love the kaam and since you'll be very pregnant, it will keep of focus from your bump as much as it can hehe :)

I agree, I like the first one. The second one is nice, too, but a little heavy for my taste. The orange one doesn't stand out to me very much. Hope that helps!

Thanks guys - so I'll go with what you're all saying and get the first one made. What about colours? I agree with moodie foodie it should be light because eid is in summer, but I'm not too keen on bright orange.
I'm thinking an ombre style would look nice, as the gown is quite plain in a block colour as it is. Anyone got any nice colour ideas - pics would be greatttt! :D

Go with any summery color that suits you, but if you are going to ombre it, keep it subtle. Like don't do 2 shades- red fading into grey, for example. Keep it in one tone so it doesn't distract from the elegance of the kaam.

^ ask your mil to check threads n motifz and needles impression, they got beautiful ready made flowy embroidered dresses, my mum sent me when I was prego, it looked awsum, check from there fb pages.

I second devilish angel. Nnabid if you can get someone to go to threads and motifs, motifs and needles impressions that might be better. They have some gorgeous outfits.

My khala recently sent me 2 threads and motifs outfits. Both are stunning. One was the 5th outfit devilish angle posted.the gown in pink and turquoise. It looks amazing on. The second was a jumpsuit (not suitable for pregnancy) with a coat. I highly recommend threads and motifs.
