Eid ul Azha 2008: Lyrics Competition!

AOA! As we are all in preparation for Eid, the Cafe has decided to bring you a special thread in which we shall test your lyric-writing skills.

All you have to do is choose a theme from the three we have provided and write a funny wacky song-lyric to it!

The judges will then take their best from each theme and then they will reveal who gets 1st, 2nd or 3 rd prize.

So get you’re creative writing caps on and go!

The themes available are:-

  • A funny song-lyric about the poor bakra who shall be served as dinner
  • A funny song-lyric about the different types of eidi you could get :wink:
  • A funny song-lyric about the different types of food you have at your table every eid.

This competition will close on Thursday 18th December, so get going!

However, Just make sure that you’re song lyrics are a minimum of 4 lines, maximum of 12!

Make sure you try your hardest because the prizes up for grabs are rockin’ :wink:

okay i just made it up right now while i was typing. so i know its very stupid & might not make any sense:blush: but its better to have soemthing stupid than nothing at all,right? :emmy:

i had a bakra
he had alot of nakhra
one day he and his pal cow, ran over the moon
in the afternoon
soon it was Eid
but before that day i gave him a little treat
next day i made biryani of him, he was very yummy
in my rumbling tummy
