Thanks!! Just got jamavar fabric in a few different colors. I am putting the same thing on the dupptta border too so its not that bad cost wise. What are you planning to wear?

I am now worried that the dress will not be delivered on time. I do have a backup dress (also black) though.

^ I’m wearing this for Eid. Too bad I ordered a size too big and now I have to get it altered. Although my mom is insisting that since it’s a Kurta, I can get away with it…I don’t know!!!

its allways hard to buy small pieces of cloth, i dont know how u do it :p Its usually suitepiece.

Anyway i probably will be wearing a Black A-Line with 3/4 Capri's, puff sleeved. It's with Silver broad gota on the top half, n thinner silver gota on the 'gher' sleeves n dupatta.

Or maybe a peshwaaz green with bubblegum pink. havent seen this dress yet. Bu i think this dress will be too much jus for eid.

anyway, ill look good :P

Both sound great! Regarding the peshwaz green, depends upon what kind of kaam is on it for it too look toomuch. Would love to see pics when its ready. About the small fabric pieces, yes, can't buy them that small, that'swhy those patches cost more than the black material.

i got this light pink ourfit made with tiny pearl-rhinestone kaam on the baazu and on the galla..also on the dupatta i did the piping of tiny beaded lace..its cute.
ill show you a pic of it on eid :D

eastern i loved ur black dress...tell me how did u manage to find the tussels...like they r really big...such tussels i have seen for curtains only ..but i was wondering to see them...how did u find such big tussels?...

I don't remember the site I got it from.Most probbaly a newspaper site like The News or Dawn or something? The tassels I am not sure if those are goiung to be that big.I got the idea from an outfit I have which has tassels on the sides, medium size ones and they look great. Maybe I will put up a pic of that dress here. I haven't seen the tassels yet or even the dress. Its being made in pakistan but I co-ordinate from here like crazy, e-mailing and calling the tailor and such. If anyone wants something made, you are welcome to contact me.
