Re: Eid Tea Party

i believe the cheese ones are the Florentine ones…always best to read the ingredients…if I read correctly it had pork. :bummer:

Re: Eid Tea Party

Sahar...Costco's shrimp tempura's are great....it comes with a dipping sauce as well. I just recently used that for an iftar party and people enjoyed eating them.

Re: Eid Tea Party

wow, you girls are very creative....I don't think I can do something like this all by myself.....I really love the cheese cake mini idea....I'm also planning to make a cheesecake for Eid...I guess I'll divide the cake into four sections and use four different toppings on each piece and cut it up in small pieces for the guests....:)

Re: Eid Tea Party

Sahar sarah lee also has those bite sized cheesecakes right?

Re: Eid Tea Party

^^I was looking for bite sized cheesecakes on saralee’s website and stumbled upon this easy and yummy recipe: http://www.saralee.com.au/recipe.jsp?page=recplist&top=null&recp=161&rcat=FROZFRUI

Re: Eid Tea Party

I CANT FIND IT!! :bummer:

I must have misplaced it…but i found it online…I’ll google it again and see if I come across it.

Re: Eid Tea Party

Okay so I just went to the store and got a ton of cake and scone mixes. Tea and scones are a perfect combo. I will bake them a day or two in advance and put out different fun jams to spread on them for those that so desire.

I'll also get those round tea cookies.

Re: Eid Tea Party

FF I found a set with 10 in a box. With so many people coming, I feel it won't be worth it, no matter how many I get!

Re: Eid Tea Party

sahar also get biscotti…costco has a whole container full of them. tastes so good with tea and it’s a bit different then the usual tea cookies.. Oh and sorry for sounding like an advertisement for costco in all my posts :cb:

Re: Eid Tea Party

ufff y u galz have to go through so much hassle, just order food from outside. Simple! isnt it :D

Re: Eid Tea Party

if you get a tray of fresh fruit, sahar, you HAVE to try this fruit dip! honestly, its so delicious and so addictive!
thaw out a container of cool whip, you know, the blue and white round one?
put half of it in a bowl and whip it with a spoon till smooove. then add one of those small individual containers of any flavour yogurt you want and mix it well. voila! works amazingly well with strawberry yogurt. and it tastes yummy with every fruit!

Re: Eid Tea Party

^ oooh i'll try that!
