Here are some photos I managed to scrounge up of my Eid party. I didn’t have one main table, but rather stations of food that encouraged people to circulate and chat with lots of different people as they munched.
#1 Sorry it won’t let me save the rotated image! Here’s my poor table toward the end of the evening. The home-made rosemary chicken and sweetcorn spread was a big hit. As was Costco’s mango salsa, smoked salmon, and mini crab cakes.
#2 Again, don’t know why the rotated version isn’t showing up. Here’s the grape & cheese table – that empty plate is where the baked brie used to be.
#3 The dessert table in the breakfast nook
#4 The veggie platter and shrimp platter were on the coffee table in our living room. The shrimp platter finished pretty quickly, so all you see here are the veggies.
The colorful tea cups on some of the tables actually had M&Ms in them that said “Eid Mubarak” and our names.
Sorry there aren’t more pictures of how it was set up. This was the best I could find!
