Eid snacks

Yes, I am lazy before anyone else tells me. haha

Anyways, so tomoro is Eid. Hubby and I dont know a lot of people in the city as our family is in another city so we ll just go for Eid namaz and that’s all Eid will be. booo.

We know a few other couples who have no family and moved recently to the city and won’t be doing anything on Eid either.

I thought I would invite two of these couples over just after namaz and chill for a while at our place and then we can go for dinner later in the day. Problem is, I came up with this idea just now and don’t know what snacks to have for tomorrow. I will stop by the grocery store or a bakery tomorrrow. But, I don’t know what exactly to buy.

What kind of things can I get that will be appropriate, make the guests happy, and not make me look so lazy…:p?

Any ideas?

Re: Eid snacks

For me chana chat is quick and easy with canned channas, imli chutney, yogurt, chaat masala and some dhanya/boiled aloo/chopped onion etc.

bhel puri mix by Swad brand (i think!) is pretty good. All you have to add is boiled aloo and dhanya/onion etc. It already comes with a bunch of chutneys and everything you need.
