Yeah, Eid is on Saturday!
Re: Eid on Friday or Saturday???
Richardson, Plano Masjids a/w EPIC are celebrating Eid on Saturday......
Of course they had booked the Dallas Convention Center on the first day of Ramadhan, does anyone really expect them to chage their bookings on the last day of Ramadhan??? They will loose their money $$$, So they decided...heck why not save the money and celebrate on saturday..... anyways...who cares about the SUNNAH......We live for $$$$$....
Allaho mustaan.!!!!! May Allah guide them and the ICNA/ ISNA...they are all a fitnah...breaking up the Unity of the Ummah.
PS: Wonder how these masajids will fast the days of Arafat & Ashura. Will they be off. What a BIG Question for those who follow the Imams of these masajids. BEWARE !!!!!

Breaking the basic rules in Islam in the name of Unity isn't a great thing either. Whats wrong with being united about accepting the fact that two cities can sight the moon on two different days and do not celebrate Eid on the same date. I am all for actually sighting the moon in the town you live rather than having a muslim callender just to please our godfathers. I am completely against following Saudi Arabia for declaring the Eid, makes no sense at all.
The Richardson and Plano Masjids are simply following the Muslim callender as they pledged for it couple of years ago.

Breaking the rules.....read the Hadith's and teh Sunnah of the Prophet (peace b upon him) more closely than what you may have done so far.
Not sure of the godfathers ..what you mean......as for the abv statement....they are NOT following the muslim calendr either. they are following the ICNA/ ISNA ( FITNA).....which seems like one of thier so-called scholars will one day get up and say....."Oh! No need to go to Mecca for the Hajj, simply drive around the Whitehouse 7 times and you are an American haji"..(GET THE POINT??)......beware of the fitna of these so-called scholars, who have their name titled as Dr..... who got thier doctorates from universities of seculars studies. Who give fatwa based on what people like to hear not rather than what the sunnah says. Imaams of these mosques are liberal, they give fatwaas based on what is easier to follow. instead of " What has been prescribed to follow"...............................
Remember the Last Sermon of the Prophet (peace b upon him)......"To this day I have completed the religion of Islam for you.........."
Re: Eid on Friday or Saturday???
