@SID_NY , Alhumdulillah Ramadhan was good. It was very different from usual Ramadhan but Alhumdulillah. May Allah swt reward us many times more than usual Ramadhan due to the hardships all over the world.
The most difficult change for me personally was not going to Makkah/Madinah at the end of Ramadhan like we usually do. But Alhumdulillah!
Eid Mubarak.
Alhamdulillah this Ramadan went well. It was obviously different from previous Ramadans but with the current conditions, I was able to focus on the family. Alhamdulillah I tried to make up for not being able to go to the masjid by trying to get my kids into the habit of praying with me. Alhamdulillah my oldest one learned the method of salat (still need to teach her dua qunoot). My younger one would also join us for prayer but doesn't yet have the attention span or understanding to stay till the salams. So that was a big win for me, Alhamdulillah.
Then for Eid they eased the restrictions, so we had backyard salat for both Juma and Eid and were legally able to meet family again for Eid.

Kids namaz is always very cute ![]()
We had Eid prayer at our cousin’s home too but amid social distancing rules. Each prayer rug was 6 ft. apart.
Some masajid did have Eid prayer but in NY it was a restriction of 10 people per salah, and that too had to be registered online and for only healthy people below 60
