Since the thread was closed in the cafe… also for the right reasons cz it wasn’t suppose to turn out like that. Instead of showing our happiness muslims ended up fighting and arguing - what a pity!
I celebrate this day. I wish others on this day. I feel happy that my beloved Prophet was born on this day. Eid means happiness - happiness on the day of birth of our beloved Prophet (SAW). I don’t see anything wrong with it.
ji saHeeH farmaayaa to phir hameN chaahiye k ham unke bataaye aur dikhaaye huye raaste par chaleN aur Allah kii razaa Haasil kareN...sab se pahle hamen islaam ke 5 pillar pe qaayam honaa chaahiye...may Allah bless us all and show us the SIRAT UL MUSTAQEEM...aameen

Aur unkay bataye huay rastay men yeh b hay k apnay aap ko firqon men matt banto... Allah said that whoever divides themselves in sects, Prophet (p.b.u.h) tell them that you are not one of them. Iss say clear aur kya indication ho sakti hay!
Yet people proudly say they are wahabi's and sunnis and what not, and at the same time they preach things like they are always on the right! May Allah (swt) give us hidaya even in this regard. Aaameen!

tou phir naa baante naa aap, apne aap ko firqon main. Forget about celebrating his birthday, 12th is not even a confirmed date of his birth, however its a confirmed day of his death, so to me it looks like that people celebrate his death (naoozobillah)
Aameen!

Majority agrees that it's his (p.b.u.h) birth date. I am with that majority. That's good enough for me. I am not following any sect in this regard. Even if it did turn out to be like that... Allah knows our intentions.

Only one sect out of 72 sects believes, not general majority.
