I dont agree with you at all, bottom line it is a biddat, it’s a made up gathering. If people would like to read Quran they should BUT not treat it different to any other day. If the prophet pbuh and his sahaba did not celebrate what right do we have? You should read up on this properly before you make such a claim.

Who told you they did not celebrate, who told you it is impermissible to celebrate?
