So where are you girls getting your eid mehndi done from? I know there’s Dimple and a few others in Scarborough, but I’m not really interested in anything too fancy. Just plain ol’ simple mehndi. I got married this summer and everyone in the family is making a big deal for me to get mehndi since this is my first eid since.
Please help. I live close to the Markham/Scarborough border. This lady mentioned another lady who does mehndi on chaand raat at this basement in karachi bazaar. I’m new in this area, so I’ve no idea where this place is and obviously, I was stupid enough to not ask that lady to elaborate on its location…
Where else can I go? What is everyone else doing? I’m sure there has to be some mehndi artists who put decent mehndi around this area who don’t take very long to do it too.

karachi bazaar is in mississauga i think...oh wait no, theres a karachi bazaar in downtown scarborough (thas wat my hubby said)... uhm last year i got my mehndi done from Dubai Parlor i forget where it was tho

i will call this karachi bazar in the morning. and jalpari, great info on the mela! if nothing works out i will just go to the mela. im sure there must be some ladies who're just puting mehndi there on the spot.

karachi bazaar is way ghetto- basically a lady on a stool, putting mehendi on, surrounded by rental videos and two or three kids lol

hello khawateen! thanks SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for your apt reply! I called up at this oleega salon and got an appointment and went for mehndi.
and I had the most awesome experience ever. This verrrrrrrrrrrrry nice gujrati lady did my mehndi and she's a permanent employee at this salon.
I asked her for a portfolio of some sort but she didn't have one and then obv i left it to her better judgement to do soemthing on my hand.. and voila...magic!
she was fast, amazingly talented and cheap!!!! like she took $5 to do one of those diagonal intricate strips + the fingers. noone i know in the GTA does that! atleast not anyone who puts their heart to it anyways.
apparently she's new here and doesn't have any inkling on how much money or exposure she could be getting. she also didn't seem high in her head to be thinking along those lines. was just very very nice and made my eid wonderful for me!
i would suggest anyone who hasn't gotten it done, or wants to get it done someday to give her a try. works at the oleega salon and her name was vibha.
