I am organizing chand raat get together at my place … what sort of decoration can I do to make it exciting…
I have bought 5-6 cones of mendi … asked the girls to bring their choorian along … so we will all mix and match …
What else can we do ?

You can have a gift exchange! Like secret santa.. with a small budget of like $10. This is alot of fun because u have no idea who ur shopping for and you have to be creative and buy a nice gift for a very small amount.

Decore could include diyas or candle decor & fresh petals in water sorts. You can add yellow, green kind of duppatas to give it a traditional look.

hey cb i like the idea of organizing chand raat how about bringing the dresses/jewellery so that u guyz can decide the look u wanna achieve with choriyan or print some mehndi desing from the internet every1 can choose from.i like the home facial idea u can do pani/pedi as well before applying mehendi it so much fun :) or exchanging the eid menu ideas or paln a trip together

sounds really exiciting apple ... the little beautifying regime sounds really exciting to me .. as most ladies tend to do that anyways before eid ... so why not do it together ..
I had asked them all to bring their chooris so we could all mix and match for next day ... mostly kaanch chooris ...

possibly not what you had in mind but get everyone to read namaz together...... the night before Eid is one of the most blessed nights in Ramadan (with regards to duas etc) and we tend to forget that sometimes getting caught up in mehndi/chooriyan and Eid preps etc.
Having said that hope you have a fab night with the girls!!! xx
