As everyone knows the muslim comunity in US is divided in two, one mainly arab-driven while other pakistani or desi-driven. So those masajid in our area which are arab-driven (actually arab-financed but run by pakistanis) like the one in my town, has tentative announcement of Eid on Friday.
The other community is depending totally on moon-sighting and will be sitting on thursday to decide for eid to be either on Friday or Sat.
