Guys, calculations are great but please do not make them the basis of your decision. ISNA and most american organizations that are influenced by Saudi have already declared Monday as eid (without even trying to look for the moon on sunday night).

It is imperative the the moon must be sighted in the region. The ***Toronto Hilal Committee ***is set up for this very purpose. It consists of 75+ muslim organizations in the Greater Toronto Area which work in conjunction with other Hilal Committees across North America to get accurate moon sighting.

ISNA declared its Monday. But that is because tonight was their 30th roza. I don't think ISNA has sighted the moon tonight.

Man.. I hope someone sights it tonight.

As per the latest update Islamic Foundation's website's wishing Eid Mubarak. Lets see if Hilaal Committee's website is in accord with it.

by the way why didn't they mention the city/state where the moon was sighted or has taxas became a default state for moonsighting, that they didn't feel the need to mention?
