Eid Hangama - Competition Time - Come and Join the Fun

Its Eid Hangama Time folks!

We are pleased to announce a competition to celebrate the muslim month of Ramadhan and Eid-ul-Fitr. This competition is open to all members. It will last the whole month of Ramadhan-al-Mubarak and will conclude on the Eid Day.

The theme of the competition is

“Islam & Muslims – A Portrait of Our Times”

All participants are invited to post images in this thread. These images can be in any of the following categories:

[li]Mosques,[/li][li]Muslim architecture, [/li][li]Islamic calligraphy, [/li][li]Islamic posters, [/li][li]Muslim men and women, [/li][li]Muslim children,[/li][li]War and jehad pictures, [/li][li]Muslim weddings pictures,[/li][li]Muslim festival pictures,and[/li][li]Miscellaneous[/li][/ul]

Rules of the Competition:

[li]Each submission MUST be accompanied by a short description (no more than 20 words) on top of the image. It should also include why you feel your submission should win the top prize. A participant can submit as many images as he/she wishes. However, please post ONLY ONE IMAGE PER POST. Don’t forget to provide due acknoledgements if the image you post is not your own. Do not re-post an image already submitted by another participant. If you have already uploaded the image to our gallery and posted in any other thread, you don’t have to upload it again. Instead, just use the[/li]
command to repost the image in this thread, with appropriate URL reference. Only images pasted in this thread will be considered in the competition.
[li]All the participants are encouraged to provide their comments on the images. While providing comments, do not paste the image in your post. You can also vote for the images of your choice. No debates are allowed in this thread, and any unwarranted comments will be deleted. The final selection of winners will be announced in the first week of January by the Administration. The decision of the Administration will be final, which will (hopefully) be made keeping in view the comments of the participants. [img]http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/smile.gif[/li]

[li]The winners will be notified in this forum. [/li][li]TOPP Administration will send a personalized signed message certifying their accomplishment. [/li][li]The winning images will be posted in Risala.com alongwith the winners’ info.[/li][li]Depending upon the response we get from the participants, there can be more than one winner or a separate winner for each category.[/li][/ul]

Good idea, but how do I come up with original pictures, ones which weren't taken by me?

Its not required that the picture is originally taken by you. It can be any picture or image. But you are the one who is posting it here, so if the picture wins, so do you!
