Brothers and Sisters!
On this day of Eid, the day of celebration, the day to end the greatest month, we wish to address you as an inseparable part of this Global Ummah.
The Beloved Prophet (saw) describes you as,
“The example of the believers, in their mutual love, mutual compassion and mutual affection is like a body; when one part of it aches the rest of it reacts with sleeplessness and fever”.
• Brothers and Sisters!
Whilst we mark the end of this month, we see the Capitalist West beating once again the drums of war. This time our brothers and sisters in Iraq will face the bombs and missiles, after they faced the wrath of sanctions which has already led to the death of hundreds of thousands of our children.
• It is clear that the impending Western campaign is nothing but a colonial project. A project to capture further the resources of the Muslims for Western corporate interests.
• America and Britain are indeed Imperialists. Their foreign policy follows no moral or humanitarian consideration. The recent attempt by Britain to justify her campaign to the Muslims is no more than a publicity stunt to justify the indefensible. Indeed she used to be the worlds colonialist and remains a colonialist.
• It is time that the Muslims seize to refer to Capitalism and the West for solutions. Seeking Western intervention, participation in Western governments, seeking UN resolutions and the like are all Western solutions that must be rejected.
• The Muslims in Britain must stand shoulder to shoulder with their Ummah. They must resist the Western campaign by speaking out against it. Furthermore, the Muslims must show the Islamic ideology as the alternative to Western Capitalism. Today the world is plagued by an ideology that causes corruption around the world, squanders the worlds resources and establishes man as the lawgiver.
• The true solution for the problem of Iraq, and all the problems that plague the Muslim world at the hands of the American and British crusaders is the re-establishment of the Khilafah Rashida. A strong ideological state, that works to bring Islam back to the affairs of life, protects the Muslims and challenges Western hegemony the world over.
• The Messenger (saw) said,
“Let not the fear of people stop you from speaking the truth when you see or witness something. Verily, speaking the truth or reminding about a great matter will not draw death closer or deprive someone from his provision (rizq).”
