when we were young our dadi used to give 10 ruppeess to all of us, we used to go n buy ice cream. you can make small boxes filled wth biscuits, lollipops, hair pins for girls and kittle dinkeys for boys. some small stuff like coloring book wth colors or small toys. is there any 1$ shop sort of anything, where u can find reasonable stuff
They have two clearance toy sales a year. One should be sometime this week, and the other is in January. I cannot tell you how many toys I have purchased at 50% (only something i desperately need) mostly at 70% off, which I keep them in a closet. They have saved my sanity and my budget!
This is also the time I purchase a few hundred $$ worth and donate to our masjid/Islamic center and or refugee toy drive.
Toy resellers hit Target first thing in the morning, and snap up the big ticket and popular items . They turn around and resell during the holiday season. I usually purchase bikes and scooters at 70% at this time, if i am lucky!
7 year old: is she a reader? now might be a good time to get her into some classics. the artemis fowl series are great if she likes adventure books, or: Early Readers 6-8 Years | chapters.indigo.ca
4 year old: crafts! klutz makes fantastic arts and crafts kits, and actually, some of them are for older kids so the 7 year old might also enjoy them.
3 year old: any kind of vehicle. my 3 year old is nuts about monster trucks and motorcycles so whether its a toy, book, or t-shirt with a picture of either, he’s thrilled!
1 month old: a soft blankie/toy? there are these great super lightweight ones made that are safe for wee babies because they pose no suffocation hazard, or: Baby | chapters.indigo.ca
and yeah indigo is one of my favourite stores lol. they’ve got everything and its all amazing!
