So, I know Syed Noor is releasing Jhoomar and Shehzad Rafique is releasing Mohabbatan Sachiyan, both done on newer technology
Also, ARY’s Godfather is going up in theares.
Anyone in Pakistan - opinions?

Godfather will bomb. The advance booking figures for Noor's Majajan follow-up Jhoomar are the best so far, and it remains to be seen how Mohabbataan Sachiyaan will fare. The promos for the these two films look pretty good. Lollywood is coming up with some very decent fare this Eid, I have to say.
Apparently, the films have caused a bottleneck. Javaid Sheikh's much awaited Khulle Asman kay Neechay was expected to release on Eid but has been postponed due to lack of good cinemas, and also the Zara Sheikh starrer the name of which I cant recall. And ofcourse, Khuda Kay Liye is still doing brisk business all over!

They are opening a new cinepax theater at Jinnah park in Pindi... So seems Pak films are making a come back...

Godfather too.
And by good, I mean, maybe watcheable. I don't know whether the story lines will be strong or dialogues interesting. The other ones they previewed are total typical crap.
Anyone who sees any of them, please post your personal review? It would be nice to hear from the audience.

I presume Mohabbatan Sachian is not going up in Karachi theatres. It's going to be in the Punjabi circuit?

Noor definitely needs a good DOP. Saw a song of Jhoomar, and the photography was inconsistent....good in some shots, totally shaky in others. It gives the impression as if he was in a real hurry to shoot the film....odd, given its taken 2 years! But seriously, he's able to come up wi th good stories and dialogues, but his films definitely need a better Director of Photography!
