I bought two lawn outfits from local boutique .. 1) brown printed with culotts 2) colorful polka dots with capris.. will decide on chand raat which one i am going to wear...

u dont have to... its not religious or anything its preferred. I mean i wudnt be as excited for eid's if my outfts wernt new coz then i wudnt b lookin forward to dressing up! But then again if ur not gona go al out an celebrate eid what are u gona celebrate?? weddings dont come often enough lol

I'll get mine from the tailor on chaand raat, lol... Its My Eidi from the in-laws... gave it for stitchin a bit late, so obviously darzi was not going to give it so soon!
I just hope that i do get it soon,,,,

well got matching shoes n churiyaan... im not sure abt the jewellery yet..

I had a death in family! so No eid shopping for me this year. The only part I am unhappy about is that I wont be getting my First Eiddi from in laws :( and i am probably gonna be married by next eid so no eiddi then either.

Oh well..

P.S. I am glad my Bday is around the corner as well :D

SweetOne, congratulations!!!

I have about half dozen outfits hanging up in my closet. so far its 1 chand raat event, eid namaz, family get together..and a friends get together later on. so about 4 outfits.

i will most likely wear "old" stuff, i.e. that i bought months or years ago and just never got a chance to wear.

I love tea pink and silver combo, its Eid, go all out and wear bangles in both hands :)

I fully intend to wear a blue cotton khaadi jora, if my tailor plans to give it back before Eid
