Eid card for Inlaws

So Eid is quickly coming up and this is my first “engaged” Eid, meaning first one since engagement, and I bough Eid cards, one for my fiance and one for my in-laws. I thought it would be a nice gesture to put those in there from me along with the presents that my mom is mailing to them. Problem is… As I’m sitting here staring at the cards, I am at a loss of what to write!

I thought I would just write a card like I do to my friends but now all these thoughts of whats appropriate to say and all that are creeping into my head. I can’t just pour my heart out like I would to a friend, and I sure can’t say “Hey I look forward to being part of your family and celebrating eids with you guys” cuz even though that would be cute for a western family, that would be too outspoken or too bold of a statement for an engaged muslim girl.

I also don’t want the card to be too rukha/peekha where I just write “Salaam, Eid mubarak, Love Mano Rani”

Adviceeeeeeeeeeeee

Come on people is this thread just going to keep getting views or is someone going to actually write a response. Help a sister out!

Re: Eid card for Inlaws

i would find a nice hadith related to Eid, and just write something along the lines of: wishing you a wonderful Eid. May Allah (SWT) accept your fasts and bless you with the highest of iman, good health and happiness.
