Wish these Eid melas were a little more sensible than a bunch of guys gathered outside blasting away loud music. The situation inside ain't all that pretty either.
I would love to attend a decent Eid Mela.

here in thorncliffe they rent the basement of the Toronto Public Library and arrange something. Last year I went and it was okay'ish - although a bit too crowded for comfort ... They have all the traditional things, mehndi, choorian, food, chat etc etc etc.
Also other stuff from pakistan....

^ The chik who did my mehndi, i think shes ayesha/aisha or amna or smethin..she said shes at gerrard every weekend (when i went there was a huge mela going on)..it was at lahore tikka kabab house (or somethin like that). her dad owns ne of the stores,
