I know that people put their time to make banners, its so nice of them to volunteer and work for something that in return will give them nothing but a self satisfaction and virtual tap on back from others.
But others who dont like them has an equal right of free speech to criticize and an open announcement of dislike. Its a void point to just say if u dont like it make one urself. Plus this is also an opportunity for a creator of banners to know what exactly people like and dislike about their work, they should take it as positive input to improve.
I agree that in discussion the hold of decency should never be left, but if something is a bit harsh one should also have an heart to accept. When u work for others (making a banner is also working for others, its for other’s viewing pleasure) then u should know that many people may love ur work and many others may simply hate it, u should have courage to accept it as well.
I will invite everyone to praise or criticize the work of Eid Banners, not simply just saying u love it or u hate it, ut more detailed critical review of why exactly it is a good work or bad one, or how it would have been better.
To start with, i ll start with this banner, i like this one, i like the gradient effect, its done nicely with colors, and the glow of eid mubarak matches the color with simplicity. Plus the low opacity of bismillah in background gives it a very decent touch.
to be honest, none of the banners are creative (other than 5abi's and mine ofcourse), most of the stuff has been stolen and put into layers and merged. The eid mubarik word has been copied, the gradient effect is too simple now ending from one hex value to another. Even the pattern is not original.
the word eidmubarik doesnt look neat either, the designer did try to add some glow to it, but if the source is copied and placed from another image after keeping the background colour transparent, then the word will never actually turn out that nice, thats why original work is original, unless you have the source files.
So yes the only thing this banner has is the gradient effect, rest is all someone else's work which has been copied.
ASN : Regardless of the degree of complexity of work and effects i like the mentioned banner as being simple and decent. Which one’s r urs? i ll comment after i see. U made ur point though, but u didnt mention what u would like to see and how the mentioned banner could have been improved? … i wasnt asking only for the likeness or dislike but a note on how to improve

I think all the banners should be removed, and ppl who made them should be put on a 7 days ban on GupShup, and their accounts should be terminated, and their ip mask should be banned on the gs server.
I like it in the first go, but i think i would have prefered more contrast of colors to distinguish in exactly what it means and what diff things/designs it holds.

*Prince ali, stole the background image, and just added the Eid Mubarark with glow effect using that font. So the upper and lower frame is also a copy as its part of the background he cropped. In other words, it kinda sucks.
