I came across on this tidbit in The News, Instep:
“Festivities including weddings also make an ideal situation for a video to explore the theme of love. Unfortunately, unlike the Indian videos, we have not been able to make the most of our religious festivities. While the reason may be that an ordinary Pakistani doesn’t have much to celebrate apart from these three occasions, one wonders if our music video directors can’t think of exploring eid as deeply as Indians do diwali and holi. But for the record, a crush over sheer khurma does sound a little strange.”
