Has the way of celebrating Eid changed with the passage of time? Do you still get excited for Eid like you used to be say (15-20 years ago)?
How much Eidi you used to get at that time and how did you spend that?
Do you think that younger generation is as excited as you used to be and they spent money (Eidi) on same things?

I never but my amman je always saved my eidi for my fazool farmaishs like cycle,video game console,and my craze of collectiong toy guns at that time. hum masoom zamany kay loog thai…Rs20 eidi bhee bohat hoti thee..aaj kaal kisi bachay ko Rs20 ki eidi daay karr tau dikhao:5:

No I don't get excited about Eid at all . With the increased responsibilities , its no longer fun, just a day I wish would pass quickly.
As for eidi , its more than what I used to get when I was young ..I used to get excited about eidi previously ,but not anymore.

But why its just for children now. I have seen our grand parents used to be excited and happy on Eid, but our generation and a generation before us somehow lost the excitement and sense of happiness. I've heard many people saying its a boring day (more boring than a usual holiday)

By the time eid morning comes , you are so dead tired doing eid k tayyari that you don't even feel like dressing up for eid.The tired you has to then get up and serve guests n all and you wish for the day to end.
