Are we ladies ready for eid? Who am I kidding of course we are so share your eid dress ideas!!! What will you be wearing and what is the look you will be going for. I want something long and drapey with lace and kerhai. I am outside at the moment so will post some designs when I get home. What colors are in for this eid, what kind of kaam and are you palazzos or churidaar girl? Churidaar all the way!!!

Mine is a bright red embroidery and chickan work cotton dress. Plain pant, and chiffon duppata. I do want to get 1-2 more dresses for other days of Eid but haven't had the time to yet.

Since its so hot this summer, I am wearing something much simpler and also there is a wedding right after Eid so I get to bling out then.
I just got myself this kurta made in malai lawn.

Nothing yet....I have a SS lawn I need to get stitched and I'm going to do some shopping this weekend, let's see if I find something!

I have an option to buy something but I'm not usre if I will. Hubby brought me 3-4 suits from Pak and they're a little heavy, and I don't have any new lawns this year.
Not sure if anything will happen on the other two days, but if so, I'll wear something I've worn before.......

I am seeing bright colors as well as light colors. Mint green and cobalt blue to nude to blush and ofcourse ivory and cream. The cut is drapey and flowy and short shirts are creeping back in which I HATE specially with palazzos.

I also hate palazzos with short tops. Looks fab on models, not so much on normal people. If you’re quite thin, it looks loose, unstructured, and frumpy (learned this from personal experience). However, I’ve also seen them on curvy girls and it makes them look heavier and gives an odd silhouette. 
I’ve yet to come across a normal person who can pull off the look well.

I actually like the short shirt-palazzo look; you can make it look so classy....I think it could be round daaman of the shirt gives a frumpy look to the body

While I do not like palazzos in any way/shape/form, I think shorter shirts can be pulled off nicely by some people. I’ve seen a few people wear them with skinny cropped pants or leggings, like in these pictures posted by S and S:

I have tried the cropped cigarette pants with a long longer top and um NO… and then the palazzo.. I don’t know something feels wrong but who knows.. I might just give I’m next year lol

moodie then you will love my eid dress, I got a simple lawn suit from origins it has embroidery and lace work, its off white wth gold n bronze embroidery and lace work. mom and mil as always sending me eid dresses but I think it might get late and I will be using them for bari eid. other than this I got pink kurta wth cream embroidery from limelight.
