:nono: Ignorance galore, ever since the British occupation, Egypt has been in the hands of secularist extremists from left and center and their different brands. But your fascinations with the Maulanas will never end.

Those who are quick to point finger at the Maulanas tend to forget that these Maulanas are the result of extreme secular policies of left and center govt which still continue.

When was the last time you were in any Arab gulf state. Its easy to spread lies, on the ground Egyptians are the only people Pakistanis feel comfortable with in the gulf. Ever heard of the Labor colonies in Kuwait and Damam KSA, you would be surprised that these two would share apartments and are mostly devoted to Islam in their different ways.

I don’t know about people-to-people but there certainly is governmental friction between the 2 (i guess from the Cold War, though it is over arbee khotay don’t learn unlike everyone else…).

One time there was a discussion going on and this egyptian government official called and said blah blah that kashmir is not Pakistan’s and Pakistan is a fake artificial country like Israel. Even the pakistani analyst in the program was totally dumbfounded (his arabian masters befelled him ) and started doing the ummah this ummah that and it is sad egypt thinks that way (then my friend told me that an egyptian “commoner” did call in the program later on and said that common egyptians don’t agree with the official line…).

Dear Deedawar, Why are you so terrified and paranoid about poor CNN?

Maulanas having been gaining power in Egypt for a long time as reported in the world media. These orthodox folks have tried different techniques including killing and bombing innocent tourists. After failing in their terroristics ways in Egypt, and most of the big ones behind bars, they are changing ways. That’s all.

Me terrified of a media machine? Machine to spread whatever comes out of few people controlling the network…Nah!

BTW, you are trying hard to change your tone after being lost for few days…remember the days you posted zillions of threads per day against muslims symbols/mullahs etc.? Your memory should be fresh…!!
