Egypt blocks and floods the supply lines to Palestine

Re: Egypt blocks and floods the supply lines to Palestine

That’s a rather simplisitc assessment. Full scale war is hardly in anyone’s interest right now, as I don’t think any single Muslim nation on earth is capable of a sustained war with a developed army. Syria allegedly had one of the most advanced armies of Arab nations, and it’s having a hard time against a rag tag band of fighters. So aggressivley persuing one’s policy isn’t going to fly. Now, if Hamas wishes to act aggressivley, and at the behest of OTHER nations (notably Iran), then we shouldn’t be surprised if Egypt reacts with anger…there’s a big difference between receiving help from the righteous, and demanding help because one is self righteous.

Perhaps my assessment is wrong, but the point is: slogans and dreams of (undeeded) revolutions only get you so far. There’s much going on behind the scenes, so it’s best to read between the lines.

I feel sorry for Morsi. He’s inherited a mess. The economy is in shambles. The secularists are hell bent on non-coporation as they don’t recognize his rightful role as preseident. His job isn’t to play second fiddle to palestinian asperations, as much as I do support them. That hardly makes him a puppet of anyone…
