technically they are unborn chicks. but if u can wring a chicken's neck in order to eat it i don't see why u cant eat its eggs.

Only fertilised eggs might have “unborn fetus”… not all eggs are fertilised.

red bloodline does show perhaps a beginning of fetus development, but as mentioned above (though rudely) that if you are permitted to slaughter the animal ..... besides its difficult to identify which ones are fertilised and which ones not (for those who keep chickens) but at farms they know it.
