egg yolk vs egg white

ok i’m a bit confused with all the tips on this forum?

for skin: i understand that it depends on oily skin vs dry skin

but what about hair?
should i use an entire egg, only egg white, or only egg yolk.
does it matter besides the smelliness an egg yolk can create?
does it work the same way as skin, that for a dry scalp you would use yolk and for oily hair you can use egg whites?

your help is appreciated

Well I remember my mom making a mixture of yogurt, almond oil and egg white for me and my sister..... it helped the dandruff go away and thickened our hair....

Re: egg yolk vs egg white

For my hair, I use the entire egg. Works great

Re: egg yolk vs egg white

they say egg yolk is for oily hair and egg white is for dry hair. but egg white has the protein so i'd think you should use the whole egg. although personally whenever i do this egg it makes my hair worse...so i'm giving up on this remedy

I use the whole egg.

If the egg remedy isnt working for your hair, maybe its because you end up using a lot of shampoo to wash it out which dries the hair??

Egg yolk is for dry skin (face)
Egg white for oily skin (face)

For hair, use the whole egg.. egg white has protein and the yolk will nourish dry hair.
