Few days back eEye Digital Security Inc. found a serious flaw in McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator. McAfee had silently fixed the flaw about 6 months back and did not tell its customers. eEye has its Intrusion Prevention software “Blink” that competes McAfee IPS product.

Guess what … eEye demonstrated the exploitation of this ePolicy flaw to “The Associated Press” by creating a file on the computer of a reporter. What a way to compete and marketing!

ps. Few weeks back eEye also targetted Symantec by finding a remote code execution flaw, that flaw was ideal for worms.

mcafee, norton/symantec, zone alarm etc, these all are for n00bs... the only 1337 antiviruses are kaspersky and Nod32. best of all!

I don't agree McAfee is that bad and is for n00bs. It's a pretty decent AV.

n00bs is used for newbies or people who take credit of others' work etc.
1337 = leet (basically Elite)
These terminologies are used by hackers.****

Kaspersky is way better than all others.
