Can you recommend special books, learning guides, websites, DVDs, etc., for kids to enhance their math skills for example? And other subjects as well?

I really like using this site to teach my little sister so she can enhance in her maths skills and science. It’s based more on the national curriculum for UK kids but so what? Maths is maths whatever part of the world you’re in. :woho:
just so you know:-
ks1 - year (grade) 2 and under
ks2 - grade 3 to grade 6
ks3 - grade 7-9
GCSE - grade 10/11
also BBC - Teachers
this is for teachers but you can use them to see the lesson plans and use most of the worksheet as well…it’s really good. :k:

Nik, I know some parents who really love a program called Kumon, you can google it. I dont know that much about it yet, except that the moms who use it are very impressed.
There are pc-based dvd programs that my boys love called "Jumpstart" - there are different versions of it for different age groups. They include math, reading and spelling and the older ones (I think) also include geography and other subjects.

If you would prefer to do it yourself then the JumpStart programs are great. You can get the CD's and load them on your pc.
There are workbooks that I can get at Chapters. These are the best. I have been using them with Noor since she was 2.5 years old. Just letting her progress at her own rate. Some days she will do three or four pages and others she will barely get through one. I will check the name and get it for you.
What kind of math are you trying to help them with?

in Dollarama they have tonz of exciting math books. Some basic some challenging. Our son is mshallah doing very good. WE use those books for practice plus few of these sites have good woorkbooks
