Education in Pakistan?

Hello,

I have been trying to understand the Pakistani education system in Pakistan. However there does not seem to be much information on the different types of education available?

Can someone explain to me once someone has completed primary education, what are the options available in secondary education and further education?

What are the best exams to take if one would like to study at universities abroad such as the Middle East, US or UK?

Could it be better to go F.A or FSc or GCE or IGCSE? I dont even know what the merits of any of these are?

If you want to go UK and many other countries GCE A level is better choice, but you would be at disadvantage for local universities in Pakistan.

For US though GCE would be good but it is not requires, they would more interested in your SAT and SATII scores.

but if ur planning on for example going to med, or dental school or engineering school (in Pakistan) its better if u did ur Fsc coz otherwise ur at a disadvantage. Good luck
