Can somebody tell me about any good and free tool i can use to rotate Images and adjust some brightness and sharpness etc? i need rotation in small units, not total vertical/ horizontal flip and 90 degree rotation. I’m looking for something which i could download off the internet for free

You can use Photoscape. I will highly recommend it. That or Picasa 3. Both of them are REALLY GOOD and I use them all the time.

^ PhotoScape helped in straightening some skewed images, while Picasa was quick and easy to apply “Auto Correction” of colors and brightness… Though I did not explore them for more options yet, Picasa seems to have more features, but i could not find arbitrary rotation option

Exactly why I use both. Mix and match features to use for my photo editing.

The windows built in picture viewer has an option to rotate images
and they save when you close the image

I dont think they have arbitrary rotate feature. Microsoft offers two basic software for this, the windows default “Windows Photo Viewer” and the one comes with MS Office “Microsoft Office Picture Manager” both have “rotate” option which only rotates by 90 degree at a time, in both directions. If I’m wrong, would you please mention where and how exactly we can perform arbitrary rotate (one degree at a time) in both of these?

IrfanView, its a freeware software that lets you edit an image do all sorts of things
