Has anyone read Abdul Sattar Edhi’s Biography “A mirror to the blind” by Tehmina Durrani?
If yes, where did you find it? is it available online?
last but not least, how did you like it?
Are there other biographies available for Edhi or is this the only one???

yeah she wrote it back in 96 i think, it's a decent book, it covers Edhis early life his marriage (one has to feel for his wife) and his foray into politics in the 70's and early 80's. His comments about the various areas he traveleld too and how people are willing spend huge sums on building mosques but far less on helping others are very telling...

she wrote..before about her marriage..the book was "fuedal lord"..but i had no idea she was trying to write..biography.

Croquet,... I don't know but she has written quite a few books, Blasphemy, my feudal lord.. biography, probably this is the only one!

Well, 'My Feudal Lord' was a very good read, so i can assume she writes well... Will deffinately try to get my hands on this one too

oh i read my feudal back when i was in school, i faintly remembr that she used a shadow writer? or perhaps i remember incorrectly. that is why i was surprised that she is working as a writer. feudal lord was more of a shock material to me at that age than literary work. but i remember being fairly captivated by the image she sketched , very contrary to my 16 yrs perception .
