Edhi in critical condition, admitted in SIUT Karachi :: CNBC Pakistan ::
KARACHI: Famous social worker and humanitarian Abdul Sattar Edhi has been admitted in a hospital due to lungs problem, CNBC Pakistan reports on Friday.
He has been hospitalized in ICU of the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) where doctors are treating him.
His wife, Bilquees Edhi has appealed the nation for his speedy recovery.

His kidneys are supposed to have stopped working. Hope they can find donors for transplant soon. They are saying he is resisting taking anyone else's kidneys saying he's too old for someone else to suffer for him.

Abdul Sattar Edhi is a great Pakistani humanitarian, our prayers are with him. We hope he heals completely and is able to serve suffering humanity for a long time. This world needs people like him.
