now didnt we all at some point watch wrestling, when I was a kid I was a fan and later now, watch it for fun. One man who always surely entertains now is Eddie Gurerro or should I say used to as he was found dead today in a hotel at the age of 38. I really feel sad as he was a classic athlete, just felt that I should share this with u guys
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
I have been a crazy wwf [wwe] fan since childhood; and it's always a bitter feeling when the wrestlers I've seen on screen week in week out, entertaining us lot have passed away. The likes of Big Boss Man, British Bulldog, Owen Hart, Mr. Perfect and now Eddie.
I've been in shock ever since i saw Vince and Chavo deliver that chilling press conference. On the recent Smackdown edition he seemed to be in good health, won his match & his storyline alongside Batista was beginning to blend in well.
Eddie's had a great in ring career, some memorable matches. He's had a lot of problems with alcohol and drugs in the past for which he received treatment, don't know if that's linked to his demise.
Raw & Smackdown are doing a tribute show for him and It'll only do justice to his 20 year service to wrestling. This papi's legend will live on.
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
The magnitude of it is even greater when you consider how big a part of WWE Eddie currently is. Usually, with these sudden, unexpected hotel room deaths - Curt Hennig, Rick Rude, Brian Pillman - the case has been the wrestlers were big stars, but their careers were decidedly over or on serious decline.
Eddie Guerrero was a big star, as of yesterday. Not to diminish any of the late, great wrestlers that have died in recent years, but this may have the most significant impact of any death since Owen Hart.
I still don't know what to think. Very sad news.
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
yesterday when i heard i was so shocked.. for a min i thought my brother was joking.. WWE raw has been my monday nite enterainment since high skool. man.. really a person dont know when is he/she gonna die... this is scary!
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
Wow. A very sad loss indeed. As Talha stated, he was a superstar of today, and a very respected one at that.
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
Extremely good point. I just watched him fight on Friday, entertaining as usual. He was an awesome entertainer, and I’m not just saying that because of his sudden death. The man made myself and many others laugh every week, and provided joy to millions throughout his career. God bless his soul.
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
so sad.
Undertaker may bring Gurerro back with him, some time. He is used of dying and coming back to life.
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
umer, i know you r just joking, but guerrero is dead in real life and not a gimmick so lets not jke abt it bro.
may his soul rest in peace
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
First you called Quaid-e-Azam a gangster & now this. I fail to see how you can get a kick out of it mate.
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
Quaid is not a gangster (to me) but neither is anybody else. There are always many ways of concluding the same thing. Gandhi is hatered (and is bad) by any Pak soul and vice versa.
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away

Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
You opened a thread in General a little while back in which you wrote about or pasted essay's on different political figures. The likes of Altaf 'Bhai', Late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Quaid-e-Azam, Nawaz & Shahbaz Shareef, Sheikh Rasheed etc. I remember you labelling them all as gangsters. I objected to the Quaid being labelled a gangster back then in that very thread of yours and now you are saying that they (Quaid-e-Azam) aren't a gangster to you.
Re: eddie guerero wwe wrestler passes away
I am not refusing that thread. That thread was about people who are thought to have damaged, misbehaved, being manipulated in a wrong way.......
Some people were not falling in that category anyway (except for manipulation in media), but time, situation, national interest and other factors have put them in that category.
As for Quaid, throught his life and juste before Musharaf's government, he was supposed to have worked for a seperate "Muslim" country. There was no other reason on which Quaid have gathered so much support in Muslims. But it was Musharaf and his fellow generals who understood him right and every other person who actually worked for ML back in early-2-mid 1900 was wrong in understanding Quaid. (If I support Musharaf's theories of retaining government) Quaid was a gangster as he succesfully fooled millions of Muslims by promising them a seperate Muslim country. Similarly Quaid (was supposed to have) promised Tribal areas of NWFP and Balochistan of retaining their identity. But that was mis-understood by every one who ever got power in Pak before Musharaf. Thus killing of innocent people of NWFP and Balochistan is a deed Quaid is responsible for, as those people trusted on his words and agreed to be a part of PAk.
