Re: Ebay

wat kind of things have u sold???

Re: Ebay

Hey,

I've bought and sold on Ebay many times - infact my hubby has his own Ebay shop and has become a Powerseller - he mainly sells Golf items as he's a keen golfer.

Myself, i'm a Beautician and i'm always buying a range of expensive brands of make-up to try - so anything i dont like and wouldnt use on my clients would normally be sold on Ebay clearly stating, tested once for colour / shade.

If you need any help or need to know anything in particular let me kno - happy to help..

Re: Ebay

Hi Aniiisa,

Not necessarily - i accept payments via Paypal, Cheque and Postal Orders - whereas my hubby accepts credit card payments and cash upon collection too.

The more options you give for payment methods the more likely people are to buy your item/s.

However, remember it is good to pay by Paypal when your buying goods, but are you aware that if u sell on Ebay and accept Paypal payments, then Paypal take a small cut from each transaction? Whereas with a cheque or postal order, it cocst the buyer to send it (postage) but no cost to the seller (you) when cashing in, so i tend to encourage cheques and postal orders. Only thing is that cheques and postal orders means that you don't always get paid as quick, as some people take a few days to send payment, some send by 2nd class so it takes longer, and also you have to wait for cheque to clear - whereas with Paypal money is in your Paypal account rightaway.

Another thing to note is that it takes approx 5- 10 working days (cant remember exactly) for you to send the money from your Paypal account to your bank account.

Hope that helps.

Re: Ebay

thnx sanam uv been really helpful

Re: Ebay

i have bought many things on ebay but never sell!

Re: Ebay

so do the buyers send the check first and then when u receive the check then u send out the product? Or do u send it out right away?

Re: Ebay

I've only bought from eBay, never sold. Can let you know once I put up my paintings on there :D

When I bought, I had to send the Payment first. The person recieved the Payment with 2-3 days and shipped the item right away and I recieved it within like a week. Once the payment is recieved, then the item is shipped :)

Re: Ebay

guys got a question a friend asked me to check on.is there anyway for a small pakistani biz to register on ebay?

Re: Ebay

should be right? I see businesses based all pover the world on ebay. i think the challenge is more in accepting payments..dunno if u can have paypal in pakistan so he would have to do credit card or money order approach.

Re: Ebay

yeah but fraudz wouldn't they have to be registered in the US as well?

Re: Ebay
