has any one ever buy/sell on eBay?? how was the experience?? is that safe?? please give personal experience details… :slight_smile:

I purchased an old laptop, got a good deal but you have to be careful, do alot of research and I would advice buy it from your region (Australia)

I dont know what you want to purchase, ask alot of questions about that product, if you dont get a complete answer about your question, for e.g. What is the charge (hours) on the battery of this laptop? and you get an answer it has a good charge <---- now thats disaster in happening the seller should tell you if it holds 1 hour of charge or 2 hours 10 minutes…etc

ask if the seller has the original receipts of that product…etc?

I read few articles on google and there are tips on eBay as well “how to buy/sell” and dont pay the seller in any other way than eBay suggest, unless the seller is in your city and you have checked the product yourself first hand!

if getting shipped from US - CAN or CAN to US - make sure use regular shipping service such as USPS / Canadapost.

I don't like e-bay. They keep your money in the paypal account and don't transfer it to your bank account. Now i have to call them and ask them to do so. I found Also if your thing is not sold, they still charge you the insertion fee.

I like amazon better.
