I don't like eating with my hand and anyways, I don't know how to. Looks gross...

I assume this is about rice, because there aren't many ways to eat roti except using the hands lol...

Us time par I dnt think ke spoons aur forks hotay thay. Is taray please ab ye na keh daina ke paidal chalna b sunnat hai and we shouldn't use cars...

Bayshak. Agar haath say nahi khaao gai, to zaroor jahannam main jao gai.

Maybe you should try to act more like the Prophet (saw) in terms of worship. Kuch faaida nahi hai agar haathon say khaao gai ya shalwaar oonchi kar kay ghoomo gai.

It can be fun to eat with hands but I generally dont.

I wash my hands A LOT throughout the day...like A LOT.

I don't have a problem eating with my hands if the need arises. Do I prefer to eat with my hands? No. Because like someone else stated, the scent of food tends to linger and I can't for the life of me walk around like that throughout the day.

Rice and noodles I use a spoon and a fork. Pizza, curry/nan/roti, I eat with my hands.

anyways, i dont...but i know ppl who do..as long as they arent making a mess and wash their hands b4 n after...who cares.

I was going to drive up to Islamabad on the weekend, looks like I'll be better off hitching a ride on a camel. I can skive off days from work too :D

Erm that's not the point....some foods, i agree, can/should be eaten with the hands only (ie. samosas, finger foods, roti salan snacks) and some that are meant to be eaten with utensils. I just don't think eating rice with my hands and licking it off my fingers is going to make me any better Muslim than the person who does do that.

With that being said, some foods I eat with my hands, some foods I don't. If I'm alone I have no problems but not in front of other people. Since my husband doesn't, I don't.
No I don't find it inappropriate or gross either unless that person is doing my threading.:(
